I don’t recognize a payment — could it be fraud?

If you don’t recognise a payment, it may be unauthorised. Payments from “Trustly Group AB” are usually linked to purchases or deposits made through a merchant, but if something doesn’t look right, it’s important to act quickly.
What you can do:
- Check your recent purchases or transactions to see if the payment matches
If you still don’t recognize the payment, please contact us via our support page. Include a proof of payment (PoP) showing your name, sending IBAN, receiving IBAN, date, amount, and any reference numbers. This helps us locate your payment and resolve the issue faster.
If the payment remains unrecognized, contact your bank immediately. Once your bank notifies Trustly, we will do our best to help recover your money. You may also consider reporting the issue to the local authorities and, if possible, the merchant where the payment was sent.
