How to report a phishing email

If you receive an email claiming to be from Trustly that you were not expecting, or that asks you to act urgently, it may be a phishing email.
Signs of a phishing email
Be cautious if an email:
- Asks you to click a link to verify your account or confirm a payment
- Asks for your password or personal information
- Contains spelling mistakes or unusual formatting
- Comes from an email address that does not end in @trustly.com
- Creates a sense of urgency or threatens to close your account
Trustly will never ask you for your bank account credentials by email.
What to do if you receive a phishing email
- Do not click any links in the email
- Do not download any attachments
- Do not reply or share any personal information
- Forward the email to Trustly through the contact page so Trustly can investigate it
If you have already clicked a link or shared personal information
If this has happened, act quickly:
- Contact your bank immediately and tell them what happened.
- Change your online banking password.
- Contact Trustly through the contact page and tell Trustly what information was shared, so Trustly can help protect your bank account from further payments.
