How Trustly protects your payments

Trustly uses several layers of security to protect your payments and personal information. This helps you pay with confidence.
Your login details are never stored
When you pay with Trustly, Trustly never stores your bank login details.
Only you can approve a payment
You must approve every payment directly in your bank or banking app. Trustly cannot make a payment without your authorisation.
Your data is encrypted
All data sent through Trustly is encrypted. This keeps your data private.
Payments are monitored in real time
Trustly monitors every payment as it happens. This helps Trustly catch unusual or suspicious activity before the payment is completed.
Your bank also checks for fraud
Your bank runs its own fraud checks on every payment. If your bank finds anything suspicious, it can block the payment before it goes through.
What Trustly can never do
- Trustly can never move money from your bank account without your direct approval.
- Trustly can never access your bank account outside the single payment you approve.
- Trustly never sees or stores your bank account password or login details.
If you notice something suspicious
If you notice unusual activity, or think your bank account may have been compromised, contact your bank immediately. Your bank can block further payments and investigate the activity.
