Do I need a Trustly account?
No. You do not need to create a Trustly account, set a Trustly password or download a Trustly app to make a payment.
What do I need to use Trustly?
You need:
- A merchant that offers Trustly or Pay by Bank as a payment method
- An eligible personal bank account with sufficient balance
- Access to the authentication method provided by your bank
The merchant may require you to have an account with them.
How do I pay with Trustly?
Always start the payment from the merchant's website or app.
- Go to the merchant's checkout, payment or deposit page.
- Select the Trustly or Pay by Bank option shown at checkout.
- Follow the instructions to select your bank and bank account.
- Approve the payment using the security method provided by your bank.
- Return to the merchant's website or app and wait for the merchant to confirm the payment.

How do I check a payment later?
You do not need a Trustly account to identify a payment or check its status. Use the Transaction Lookup Tool.
