How do I read transaction data in the Merchant Portal?
To read transaction data in the Merchant Portal, do the following:
Note: Data availability is based on your configuration. Not all merchants have access to all data listed.
- Click the Transactions tab from the side menu to open a list of transactions. Customize the data using any of the following options:
- Sorting:
- Date (newest transactions): This is the default sorting method.
- Date (oldest transactions)
Note: Sorting by date will return the last 3 month's worth of transactions. To retrieve older data, use the Date filter instead. - Highest Amount
- Lowest Amount
- Date: Filter by ranges or a specific date.
Note: Date ranges can be a maximum of 3 months apart. - Search: Search using a list of fields.
- Sorting:
- Review the following overview information provided in the transactions list:
- The date and time the transaction was initiated
- Consumer Name
- Consumer Financial Institution
- Type of Transaction
- Amount (if relevant)
- Status
- Open a transaction to view more details, including the following:
- Details:
- Reference IDs, including:
- Reference Number
- Payment ID
- Transaction ID
- Original Transaction ID
- Statement ID
- Customer ID
- Status Code
- Status Description
