Why is Trustly charging me fees?

Trustly is a free service. We do not charge:
- Monthly fees
- Transaction fees
We may charge return fees, often referred to as non-sufficient funds (NSF) fees, if you authorize a transaction to a merchant but do not have enough money in your bank account to cover it.
- Why does this happen? When you authorize a transaction to your merchant, the money appears in your wallet or merchant account instantly. However, it takes 1–3 days for the money to actually leave your bank account.
- Can I avoid fees? Yes, when transacting keep enough money in your bank account until you see all requested charges appear on your bank statement.
