What is a Micro Challenge Deposit (MCD)?

A Micro Challenge Deposit (MCD) is used by some merchants to verify your account. It is a small, temporary transfer of money (usually between $0.01 and $0.99) that will appear on your bank statement as "TRUSTLY MCD."
To verify your account, the merchant will request the MCD code listed with the deposit details.
