Bonprix and Trustly announce new partnership in move to simplify payments in the Nordics
Fashion company Bonprix, part of the Otto Group, is taking a major step in its digital expansion by entering into a partnership with Trustly. Through this collaboration, Trustly's innovative Account-to-Account (A2A) payment solution will be implemented in Finland, Sweden, and Norway. This enables a faster, smoother, and more secure payment experience for Bonprix's Nordic customers.
The partnership between Bonprix and Trustly takes place in collaboration with Computop and aims to optimize the checkout process while driving conversion in the Nordic markets. With Trustly’s A2A payments, transactions are completed directly from the user’s bank account, eliminating the need for cumbersome card payments. For merchants, this solution reduces the number of abandoned purchases.
"We want to offer our customers the simplest and smoothest shopping experience possible. Trustly’s A2A payments make the payment process more seamless and secure for users, which also leads to a better conversion rate for us. This collaboration is a natural step in our digital growth strategy in the Nordics," says Birgit Jacobsen, Senior Manager, Payment & Accounting at Bonprix.
Trustly's payment solution has long been a leader in Open Banking, currently enabling direct payments in over 33 countries. By reducing friction in the payment process, the customer experience is improved. Trustly also offers advanced technologies such as Azura and Face Authentication, which enhance user security and simplify the shopping journey.
"We are pleased to support Bonprix in their expansion in the Nordic market. By offering a fast and smooth payment solution, we can contribute to a better user experience and increased conversion for merchants. Our collaboration with Bonprix and Computop is an example of how we can drive innovation in e-commerce payments," says Johan Tjärnberg, CEO at Trustly.
With the launch of Trustly’s payment solution in the Nordics, Bonprix strengthens its position as a leading fashion player at the forefront of digital innovation.
